XM Satellite Radio
At this time satellite radio was just being launched and there were two key deliverables involved in this project: brand presence and the presentation of a new listening format. Studio1011 developed an approach that operated on three distinct levels of the user experience. The first level emphasized the brand and provided a broad brush pitch to a large audience. The second level was a more dedicated kiosk type interaction where customers could use a web based program to experience the product. The third and most intimate engagement was an immersive pod that put the product in the context of driving. Within the pod environment, we developed an immersive presentation that utilized the actual satellite transmission and created a modular interface that became a platform for several games and promotional engagements. The user data gained by this interactive was used to improve the exhibt experience and as market research for the product.
